In close cooperation with Netpoint, a comprehensive SAP carve-out and harmonization of the system landscape was carried out. This involved several key steps:
Detailed inventory: First, a thorough analysis of the existing SAP environment was carried out. Weak points and optimization potential were identified.
Planning the carve-out process: Based on the analysis, a detailed action plan was drawn up, which provided for the transition to separate, independent SAP environments. The aim was to split the systems in such a way that they would meet the individual requirements of the respective business units.
Migration and harmonization: This was followed by the step-by-step migration of the relevant data and processes to the new SAP structures. At the same time, the system landscape was harmonized to ensure a uniform, consistent IT infrastructure. This also included the implementation of new SAP modules and the optimization of existing processes in order to achieve efficiency gains and cost savings.
Handover and operation: Following successful implementation, Netpoint took over ongoing operations, including monitoring and support, to ensure a smooth transition.
